Today, the team at Picture Healing (@picturehealing) was kind enough to invite us to work out of their apartment/office in a format called #floworking (like a floating coworking space) inspired by the Vegas Jelly team. Jelly is a casual semi-weekly work together event started in NYC and now in over 100+ cities worldwide. It was a great change of scenery for this guy (me), who’se been working out of his home for the last few weeks – the company of new and interesting people is always awesome.
I finally had a chance to meet Stacy McCoy (@stacymccoy) with Give To Get Jobs (@give2getjobs) – a resource for finding and filling for profit jobs that give back. While they’re less than a year old, they’ve been receiving a lot of media as a resource for socially conscious job seekers. Considering the recent activity in social enterprise such as the two new legal structures in California and OPIC’s $285 million commitment to impact investing, this seems to be the perfect time for the launch of a company like Give To Get Jobs.
What a delight it was to work with Flula Borg (@flula) in the office! I had the opportunity to sit in on the filming of Give to Get Jobs & Picture Healing’s Social Enterprise Spotlight: The Flulanthropy Edition (I made that name up). It was difficult not to crack up. Check out Flula’s Flulanthropy video below:

There were more cool people there, but I’ll tell you about them soon after the next #floworking event!
