Some people say everything happens for a reason. I think it’s a great way to start a story.
Six months ago, I was feeling defeated from not meeting a major milestone I’d set for my business. I was reading multiple books a month, putting all of my energy into one business, and for some reason, it didn’t work out. Bummer.
That’s when I started networking. Stupid me, should have started doing that a year ago. Then I won MVP at Startup Weekend, that was awesome. Coloft is a great place to meet cool people.
Simultaneously, I started casually conversing with two alumni (one in Norcal & one in Socal) from my college, who had both done this program called the Founder Institute.
“What is it?” I asked.
All I heard was, “awesome mentors… start ups… entrepreneurs… sweet connections… bad ass…”
So I decided to look it up.
